AHMIB HAS MOVED REGISTRATION
TO THE HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRY
We are finally ready for registrations for the 2020-2021 season, which will run from August 7th to August 14th inclusively. We know that this new season is full of unknowns with the approaching Fall. We are committed to respecting the direction given by Hockey Quebec as well as with our partner arena during the season. In the event that the season is canceled or drastically reduced, we have planned for a prorated refund mechanism for registered members.
To limit gatherings, we strongly encourage online registrations. Please use the following link and carefully review the information below prior to registering:
FOR RETURNING AHMIB PLAYERS TO REGISTER:
Please review the instructions carefully as instructions differ depending on whether you are a first time user or a returning user to online registration.
You should have your child's Hockey Canada ID, which we will send to you under separate email cover, if we are able to match your email address with a Hockey Canada ID based on last year's registration.
Or alternatively, you can find your child's Hockey Canada ID in a few ways:
You can log into your Ehockey Account E HOCKEY LINK
You can look at your registration receipts from prior years
Your last year's team roster (you can request this information from your manager or coach)
If you are a new player to hockey or moving to the area, you must contact our registrar directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not register online as your child will need a Hockey Canada profile or will need to be transferred to our Association in order for you to register. This will need to be handled by our Registrar email@example.com.
ARE YOU A FIRST TIME USER TO ONLINE REGISTRATION?
FAMILY ACCOUNT SET UP
As a first time user to the online registration website, you need to create an account to register players. This account is a “family” account; you only need ONE account to register multiple family members.
To create an account, you would click on the “CLICK HERE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT” link.
ARE YOU A RETURNING USER TO ONLINE REGISTRATION?
FAMILY LOGIN (used online registration previously)
If you registered online last season for any other clinics sponsored by Hockey Quebec or Hockey Canada, your Hockey Canada account remains the same. Your login account is your email address. Should you fail to remember your login, please try all email addresses you may have had in the previous year before setting up a new account.
Forgotten passwords can be retrieved by clicking “Forgot Your Password”. A new password will be emailed to your email address that you used to login. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please contact our Registrar at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please review the name & address on account. Upon successful registration, a receipt/invoice will be issued to the name & address on this account. If necessary, edit the family information. THIS DOES NOT UPDATE THE PLAYERS RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS IN HOCKEY CANADA.
HOW DO I FIND MY CHILD? – RETURNING AHMIB MEMBERS ONLY:
IMPORTANT: IF YOUR CHILD PLAYED WITH AHMIB IN THE PREVIOUS SEASON, THEY ARE IN THE SYSTEM, PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A DUPLICATE RECORD.
Click on “Register a New Participant”.
To register your child, you will be required to input:
the child’s first name,
date of birth, and
You may also use your child’s Hockey Canada registration number if known. If your child played hockey in any prior season, they will be in the Hockey Canada system.
If having difficulties locating your child’s information, please try a number of variations, as your input must be an exact match to the Hockey Canada record and sometimes there are errors in the system. Common types of errors:
Benjamin vs Ben
Middle name used instead of legal first name (and vice versa)
O’Toole vs O Toole
McDonald vs Mc Donald
Date of Birth errors:
Month and day switched around
Wrong birth year
If there is an error that you would like corrected, after you have registered your child you may contact the AHMIB Registrar to have any changes made to your child’s profile. Legal documentation may be requested.

2. When you locate the player you wish to register, click:
If you see “Unavailable” contact our Registrar.
Select preferred language and read the provided information and agree to terms.
The next step is to provide some account information. This includes name, address, and contact information. This is personal information of the account holder. Remember that we will use the email address you give to communicate with you throughout the season. THIS IS NOT THE INFORMATION OF THE PLAYER.
Once the account is created, the user is brought to the main home page where they can see their shopping cart and previous registrations, access account options and register a player.
ONLINE PAYMENT/CHECK OUT
Online registration payments can be done by interac transfer. Please see below for instructions on how to make the payment. A receipt/invoice will be emailed to you upon successful completion of the interac e-transfer payment transaction.
Lock out Errors: If you experience a lock out error during your online payment portion, please wait one hour for the system to reset and try again.

YOU MUST INCLUDE YOUR CHILD(REN)'S HOCKEY CANADA ID NUMBER AND PLAYER NAME IN THE NOTES SECTION OF YOUR E-TRANSFER
Pay to: AHMIB
These e-transfers are being automatically deposited in the AHMIB's general bank account and manually processed so please ensure that you indicate the Hockey Canada ID Number and Play Name. Also, please allow some time for your payment to reflect on your Hockey Canada invoice. Once your e-transfer has been received and processed you will be able to see the remaining balance on your invoice which can be found on your Hockey Canada profile when logging in using a PC.
Since registrations are taking place later than usual, we ask for a single payment. We do know, however, that for some this will be potentially difficult under the current circumstances.

Again, our preferred method of payment is e-transfer. However, for those who wish to pay by cheque or cash please contact Luc Campeau firstname.lastname@example.org directly. Please do not mail in any payments to the association.
IMPORTANT: In registering my son or daughter, I understand that I will have to pay, in supplement of the registration fees mentioned above, a parental contribution of between $175 to $450 to my child’s team budget for single letter teams and up to $800 for double letter teams. This team fee is MANDATORY and is determined by the coach and the manager of the team at the beginning of the season. I understand that by registering my child, I undertake that he/she actively participates in the tournaments, development activities, additional practices and fundraising activities organized by the team, which activities are part of the team budget.
